Moduli spaces of stable sheaves on K3 surfaces are a class of very interesting algebraic varieties, and are among the few known examples of hyperkähler varieties. In this talk I will recall the basic definitions and outline a proof, that uses the theory of Bridgeland stability, of the fact that these moduli spaces are hyperkähler varieties.
