ore 17:30 | Filippo Mazzetti (DOTTORATO IN FISICA) | QED radiative corrections to leptonic decays of pseudoscalar mesons
Abstract: This presentation aims to present a strategy to compute the radiative QED correction to leptonic decays of pseudoscalar meson due to the emission of either a real or a virtual photon, with non perturbative accuracy in the strong-interactions, by using LQCD simulation. It will also be explained why such corrections are important to improve our understanding of the Standard Model and to test New Physics. |
ore 18:00 | Massimo Guidi (DOTTORATO IN FISICA) | The problem of cosmic expansion: theoretical framework and phenomenological
observables. One of the next challenge in Cosmology Abstract: In this talk, I will review how measurements of cosmic expansion represent a significant anomaly for an only Cold-Dark-Matter Universe, leading us to play with a mysterious energy component called dark energy. Constraining its properties is one of the next goals and open problems for cosmologists. It will be explored how differents models and peculiarities can be linked to data observables. |
ore 18:30 | Marco Di Bella (DOTTORATO IN FISICA) | H0 constant: different approaches’ tension Abstract: The determination of the Hubble’s constant is a crucial test in modern cosmology. Nowadays we can distinguish two main paths: indirect early-time universe measurement and direct late-time universe measurement. The tension between the two approaches’ result is real! We will briefly discuss about one method for each path. |
